MoveOn Once Again Calls for Congress to Expel George Santos
Washington, D.C. – Following the explosive bipartisan report released today by the House Ethics Committee, MoveOn Political Action Executive Director Rahna Epting released the following statement:
“I can’t believe we have to say this, but a member of Congress has no business using campaign funds to pay for Botox treatments and lavish Atlantic City trips. What more do we need to know? Expel George Santos. New York 3rd District residents deserve real representation—not a lying lawmaker cheating the system at every opportunity for his own gain.”
For months, MoveOn and its members have been calling for Santos to resign or be expelled. Over 154,000 members and counting have signed a petition for him to step aside over his rampant lies and corruption.
