DAILY CALLER NEWS FOUNDATION—Minnesota Gov. Tim Walz, the Democratic vice presidential nominee, appointed a member of a political faction that has pledged loyalty to the Chinese Communist Party to a state board that advises the government on Asian American affairs, a Daily Caller News Foundation investigation found. Walz first appointed Chang Wang, a Minnesota-based attorney, to the Council on Asian Pacific Minnesotans in May 2020.
