Trump Megadonor Funnels Another $5 Million Into Kennedy Jr. Campaign
WASHINGTON, D.C. – In response to new reporting revealing that Timothy Mellon, Donald Trump’s largest donor, contributed an additional $ 5 million to Robert F. Kennedy Jr.’s SuperPAC in April, MoveOn Political Action Chief Communications Officer Joel Payne release the following statement:
“For weeks, Robert F. Kennedy Jr. has been ignoring calls for him to tell his Super PAC to return every penny of the MAGA millions funding his reckless third-party bid. There’s no hiding it: Kennedy Jr. is a Trojan horse for the Trump campaign. If you don’t believe us, take a look at all of the MAGA donors paying for Kennedy Jr.’s anti-abortion, pro-conspiracy theory ticket.”
Since April, MoveOn has been calling for Kennedy Jr. to publicly call on all of his Super PACs to give back every dollar that they’ve received from right-wing, Trump-backing megamillionaires like Timothy Mellon and Patrick Byrne.
