Democrat Invokes ‘Trans Jesus’ After Amending Gender Bill Out of Recognition in Middle of Night

A Colorado state senator appeared to belittle the faith of critics by referring to “trans Jesus” amid debate on HB 25-1312, after he and his party amended the bill beyond recognition in the wee hours of Monday night, two days before the end of the Colorado legislative session. HB 25-1312 drew national scrutiny after a Colorado Democrat compared concerned parents to the Ku Klux Klan. The 25-year-old has been calling for primary challenges against some older Democrat incumbents in order to give the party a new, younger…

Harvard Still Wants Its DC Sugar Daddy

“No government—regardless of which party is in power—should dictate what private universities can teach, whom they can admit and hire, and which areas of study and inquiry they can pursue.” This defiant and bipartisan defense of the purity of education, delivered by Harvard President Alan Garber, sounds fantastic, right? After all, what society that pretends to value objectivity would dare to allow a government to control the educational decisions of private institutions? Barack Obama—blessed is he—agreed, celebrating Harvard as a shining beacon of academic freedom! “Harvard has set an example…

Hello, this is Victor Davis Hanson for The Daily Signal. I want to wade into a very controversial topic. I want to be very careful. It’s the issue of whether biological men who have transitioned to the female gender should compete in female sports. And what is the reaction of those who say they should versus the federal government, under President…
