Extended Statute of Limitations on Malpractice Could Benefit Transgender Lawsuit

Prisha Mosley, a detransitioner who now advocates against transgender procedures, is seeking to have her lawsuit on medical malpractice, fraud, and negligence charges reinstated in a case that could have wide-ranging ramifications.  Mosley, who was put on testosterone when she was 17, sued several health care providers on medical malpractice and negligence claims in 2023. A judge dismissed her malpractice claims last year on statute of limitations grounds, while clearing her case to move forward on the fraud, facilitating fraud, and civil conspiracy charges. Now, she is seeking to have…

Gavin Newsom’s Misguided Redistricting Initiative

California Gov. Gavin Newsom is upset with Texas. There’s a reason he should be upset. California companies are pulling up in droves and moving to the Lone Star State and elsewhere. But that isn’t what’s bothering him. Newsom cares about politics and power, not markets and business. He’s upset that the Texas Legislature is moving to redistricting that could add up to five Republican seats in 2026. So, Newsom wants to redistrict, which could add another five Democrat seats in California. California’s congressional districts are already gerrymandered to death to…

The Quiet Part Out Loud: What the Left Really Thinks of Illegal Immigrants

For all of their pious pontificating about the nobility of illegal immigrants as people who simply came here in search of a better life for themselves and their families, Democrats and others on the Left in and out of Congress actually have a much more patronizing view in unguarded moments. While out of one side of their mouths, the Left lionizes illegals as latter-day huddled masses yearning to breathe free, these same leftists speak of the migrants in ways that are condescending or at best utilitarian, even as they fight…

VA Cuts Ties With Unions in ‘Best Interests of Veterans’

The Department of Veterans Affairs announced it is severing its ties with unions, in line with President Donald Trump’s executive order ending collective bargaining with unions at some agencies. The move is intended to make it easier for VA leaders to promote high-performing employees, hold poor performers accountable, and improve benefits and services to America’s veterans. “Too often, unions that represent VA employees fight against the best interests of veterans while protecting and rewarding bad workers,” VA Secretary Doug Collins said. “We’re making sure VA resources and employees are singularly…

They Aren’t Alright

A few weeks ago, press outlets globally ran a horrific story about Israel shooting at starving Palestinians trying to get food. The story was not true. Before the press began retracting it, a man in Colorado attacked several Jews, killing, among others, a Holocaust survivor. Earlier this week, the New York Times, on its front page, showed a malnourished toddler starved to death by Israel. The picture came with growing claims of genocide in Gaza. The Times was not alone in showing the picture of the dead toddler. Later, on…

With Bove Nomination, Senate Again Becomes a Judicial Battlefield

The Senate has again become the scene of a titanic battle for control of the judiciary under President Donald Trump. Emil Bove III, Trump’s nominee to the 3rd U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals, continues to face harsh criticism from Democrats, but Senate Republicans want to confirm him this week. Bove has previously represented Trump in criminal cases during the 2024 election cycle and currently serves as principal associate deputy attorney general. Democrats point to whistleblower allegations that, while serving as an official in the Justice Department, Bove urged lawyers to…
