MoveOn Calls on Kennedy Jr. to Fire Jan 6 Insurrectionist and Return MAGA Money
WASHINGTON, D.C. – Today, NBC News reported that Robert F. Kennedy Jr. hired a right-wing influencer who was at the Capitol during the deadly insurrection. The news follows previous reporting that this latest hire also believes January 6 was a “Democrat misdirection.”
In response to Kennedy Jr. running a shadow MAGA campaign, MoveOn Political Action Chief Communications Officer Joel Payne release the following statement:
“Why is an insurrectionist on the Kennedy Jr.’s campaign payroll? MoveOn is still waiting for Kennedy Jr. to denounce and publicly call on all of his Super PACs to give back every dollar that they’ve received from right-wing, Trump-backing megamillionaires. It’s clear as day that Kennedy Jr. remains a MAGA trojan horse.”
