“Trump is Not Above the Law” Billboard Near Mar-a-Lago

“TRUMP IS NOT ABOVE THE LAW”: That is the message that loomed over Donald Trump last Tuesday, April 4, as he returned to Mar-a-Lago from his arrest and arraignment in Manhattan. It’s the takeaway from prosecutors’ willingness to bring criminal charges against the former president—in just one of several investigations finally aiming to hold him accountable for a litany of crimes and corruption. It’s also the message that MoveOn members made sure he saw on his drive home—emblazoned on the 48-foot billboard that his car drove directly past when he…

Then he noted Kristina Wong, who similarly posted a meme about texting your vote, and yet has faced no legal consequences.  …

Felony Indictment Shows Accountability Finally Coming for Trump

Washington, D.C. – Statement from MoveOn Executive Director Rahna Epting in response to recent reporting that a grand jury voted to indict Donald Trump. “With a felony indictment in New York, another indictment looming in Georgia, and two impeachments to his name, Donald Trump does not belong on any ballot for public office. After years of avoiding any liability for his actions, Trump is finally being held accountable for his criminal conduct. This isn’t a trivial matter: Trump defrauded voters ahead of the 2016 election by illegally concealing critical information…
