Time to Bury Blanche’s Nomination as Deep as He Buried the Epstein Files
WASHINGTON, D.C. – As the Senate Judiciary Committee holds a confirmation hearing today in response to President Donald Trump’s nomination of his personal lawyer Todd Blanche to become the next U.S. attorney general, MoveOn Political Action Executive Director Katie Bethell released the following statement:
“Todd Blanche’s record of blind loyalty to Trump over allegiance to the law and his country is disqualifying, full stop. As Trump’s Epstein fixer and personal lawyer, Blanche spent years keeping Trump out of prison and has zero credentials or credibility to run the agency meant to hold everyone, including the president, accountable to the law. If the Senate confirms Todd Blanche, they are confirming a corrupt Department of Justice that will fail the American people.”
MoveOn is mobilizing its millions of members and running digital ads to put pressure on Congress to reject Blanche’s nomination.
