ICYMI: No Labels Refuses to Release Donors During ‘Open to Debate NPR’
Washington, D.C. – Earlier today, No Label’s Chief Strategist Ryan Clancy rebuffed questions on “Open to Debate” from MoveOn Political Action Executive Director Rahna Epting and debate moderators about any specifics on the party’s donors. In response, Epting released the following statement:
“No Labels had yet another opportunity to be transparent about their donors and they refused. With so much at stake in this election, the American people deserve answers as to who is funding this reckless plan that will only lead to Donald Trump back in the White House. What are the No Labels Party and its donors trying to hide?” said MoveOn Political Action Executive Director Rahna Epting.
The New Republic reported that conservative super donor Harlan Crow – the same billionaire who lavished improper gifts and benefits to Clarence Thomas – donated $ 130,000 to the group between 2019 and 2021 and connected the group with several other donors in his network. More reporting has shown strong financial connections to Jared Kushner and organizing ties for No Labels to conservative interest groups who are close to Ron DeSantis.
